Affect the environment
1. Health hazards
Invasion route: inhalation, ingestion, transdermal absorption.
Health hazards: This product is irritating to the skin and mucous membranes, and causes delayed deep herpes and allergic reactions. Long-term exposure can cause headache, tingling sensation, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pressure, gastroenteritis and other symptoms.
2. Toxicological information and environmental behavior
1. Dangerous characteristics: it is combustible in case of open flame and high heat. Decomposition by high heat liberates toxic gases. Contact with strong oxidants can cause chemical reactions.
2. Combustion (decomposition) products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulfur oxide, hydrogen chloride.
3. On-site emergency monitoring method
4. Laboratory monitoring methods
5. Environmental standards
6. Emergency treatment methods
Emergency method
Emergency response to leakage
Isolate the leaking contaminated area and restrict access. Cut off the fire source. It is recommended that emergency personnel wear self-contained breathing apparatus and general work clothes. Do not directly touch the leakage. A small amount of leakage: mix with sand, dry lime or soda ash. Place in a bag and transfer to a safe place. A large amount of leakage: collect and recycle or transport to waste disposal sites for disposal.
Protection measures
Respiratory protection: wear self-priming filter dustproof mouthpieces when you may be exposed to its dust. During emergency rescue or evacuation, air respirators should be worn.
Eye protection: wear chemical safety glasses.
Body protection: wear protective overalls.
Hand protection: wear rubber gloves.
Others: After work, take a shower and change clothes. Store clothes contaminated by poisons separately and wash them for later use. Maintain good hygiene. [2]
First aid measures
Skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing immediately, and rinse the skin thoroughly with soap and water. Seek medical attention.
Eye contact: Lift the eyelid and rinse with running water or normal saline. Seek medical attention.
Inhalation: quickly leave the scene to a place with fresh air. Keep the airway unobstructed. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration immediately. Seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Drink enough warm water, induce vomiting, and seek medical attention.
Fire extinguishing method: Fire extinguishing agent: dry powder, carbon dioxide, sand. Water is forbidden.
Synthesis method
Toluene sulfonation method
Toluene is reacted with chlorosulfonic acid, and the reaction product can be obtained by vacuum distillation or freezing crystallization.
Sodium toluenesulfonate chlorination method
Toluene and concentrated sulfuric acid are reacted with thionyl chloride for acylation, and the reaction product is distilled under reduced pressure to obtain the product.
